School Art Show

Madison and her friend Micayla selling school cookbooks at the art show. The secretaries asked Mad if she'd be willing to do it because they knew she wouldn't be too shy to ask people. Madison of course said yes and told Micayla she was helping. haha
Madison's poster was one of the winners. She got the best use of shapes award.

Madison's Pop Art

Erika's hand print.
Not surprising to us, her hand was the smallest in the class. She's so tiny! The teacher had the kids wrap these up and give them to their mommy's for mother's day. The kids did these in the very beginning of the year so when Erika gave it to me for Mother's day we put her hand up to it again to see if it had grown and it had. She was happy to know she's growing, but knew I'd be sad. :O)

Madison's frog from planet Jumpiter
They have some AWESOME parent volunteer's that come in and run the Art dept. since the district doesn't really have the money for it. We are also very blessed to have a retired gentlemen, that the kids call Bubba, come in and do all the clay art. The kids just love him and I think he feels the same way about the kids. This is the second year they've had an art show at the school and I think the kids love to be able to show off their work to their friends and family.
